The brand's benchmark design was given a new start in the period of 2003-2004. The newly developed prestigious edition inherited unique characteristics of its two predecessors, the S/el and the first Link generation.Nowadays every timekeeping creation from the TAG Heuer Link series denotes Strength and Elegance, Power and Beauty, sporting Prowess and Prestige.The watch is powered by a quartz movement. It is 200-meter water-resistant. As the models of the timepiece has been developed from different materials, according to the model, the bezel of the timepiece is fixed or unidirectional produced from steel or gold. There is also a model with the diamond-set bezel.The dial of the watch features facetted, hand-fitted hour markers that are stainless steel, gold plated or diamond, depending on the model. The hour markers and hands are covered by luminescent substance to provide perfect legibility in any light conditions.The TAG Heuer Link quartz watch is secured to the wrist with either steel or a combination of steel and 20 microns plated gold bracelet.The first timepieces that served as the base for the TAG Heuer Link series were initially introduced in 1987 under the name 'S/el' standing for 'sport and elegance'. In 1999 the series received its Link name.
